Volunteering is an excellent way to experience the Costa Rican culture and get to know more about the different types of rainforests, animals, and beautiful beaches.

 

We have received volunteers from Costa Rica and all over the world including Mexico, USA, Canada, France, Germany, Italy and Australia. Volunteers come and stay at our farm with the family and participate in diverse projects such as construction, maintenance, conservation, and projects focused on community development, sustainable development and ecotourism.

 

You can volunteer on our farm which in located in La Paz De Guatuso, from 1 day upwards to a year.  You will work alongside our family and other volunteers. You will also have the opportunity to contribute by designing and implementing your own ideas into the project.

Price per person per day: $20 Home Stay (This includes three meals and Lodging)

Schedule and Duties: Your work schedule is 8:00 am to 2:00 pm (including meal times) five days a week, weekends are free for travel or anything that may interest you. You will work alongside us and other volunteers in some of the following areas:

 

Trail and garden maintenance, construction, milking cows/the production of cheese, working with reforestation programs, and much more.

Of coarse we are not here to just work, we also want to have fun. With that being said we would like the volunteer to take part in family outings like going to national parks, beaches, rivers and hot springs and many other adventures.

What to Bring:

Rain Coat, Camera, Sunscreen, Bug Repellent, Walking shoes or boots, Hat, Swimwear, Towels, Rubber boots, Personal hygiene items (shampoo, soap, toothbrush, etc...)
